This Province of British Columbia Notary Public embosser on a Long Reach Desk Seal. This embosser unit is placed on the desk like a conventional stapler. No mechanical advantage, longer reach larger die plate. Does not fit standard 1 15/16 seal labels. Available with your choice of seven different layout options.

These notary embossers will bear YOUR NAME around the top and “BRITISH COLUMBIA” around the bottom.

    Normally your full legal name. Most provinces require your full legal name as registered with your law society.

  • *Embossing Position

    Select the position that you want to emboss your paper from. The default position is from the bottom of the paper but the dies can be mounted so you can emboss from the top or bottom or the left or right hand side.

  • Do you need a digital copy of your impression.

    Do you require a digital copy for directly embedding in your documents?   We can do that.   We provide two images, one a jpg image and one a png file; the png file will have a transparent background.    Both files are 300 dpi, suitable for print.

  • Would you like to see a proof before manufacturing?

    If requested, a PDF proof will be sent to the email you provide at checkout within 12 hours of your order (business days).  Please watch your e-mail check your junk email folder and make sure to provide us an email address that can receive an email with attachments. Notary public seal embossers are not mandatory for notarizing documents in British Columbia. However, it clearly indicates that you notarized the document.

Notary public seal embossers may also be used when executing deeds under a power of attorney. Section 7 of the Power of Attorney Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, 370 states the following:
    • 7 A deed executed by an attorney under the seal of the attorney on behalf of a donor, whether an individual or corporation,
    • (a) is binding on the donor if it comes within the scope of the attorney’s authority, and
    • (b) is of the same effect as if it were under the seal of the donor.
