Alberta Notary Public embossing seal, pre-configured layout for an Alberta Notary Public on a Shiny EZ-ED Standard Desk Seal. This embosser unit is placed on your desk like a conventional stapler; the revolutionary mechanism gives you a 30% mechanical advantage over traditional embossers, and it is much easier to use. Available with seven different layout options.

These notary embossers will bear YOUR NAME around the top and “PROVINCE OF ALBERTA” around the bottom.

New Notaries and Commissioners Act in force April 30, 2015

Under the old legislation, a notary didn’t need to affix a seal to an affidavit or declaration to be valid for use within Alberta. The new legislation requires a notary to affix a seal to all documents, whether for use in Alberta or out of province. The seal must bear the notary’s name and the words “Notary Public” and “Province of Alberta.” (Section 5.)

    Select the position that you want to emboss your paper from. The default position is from the bottom of the paper but the dies can be mounted so you can emboss from the top or bottom or the left or right hand side.

  • Do you need a digital copy of your impression.

    Do you require a digital copy for directly embedding in your documents?   We can do that.   We provide two images, one a jpg image and one a png file; the png file will have a transparent background.    Both files are 300 dpi, suitable for print.

  • Would you like to see a proof before manufacturing?

    If requested, a PDF proof will be sent to the email you provide at checkout within 12 hours of your order (business days).  Please watch your e-mail check your junk email folder and make sure to provide us an email address that can receive an email with attachments.
