Alberta Notary Public embossing seal, pre-configured layout for an Alberta Notary Public embosser on an Ideal-Trodat Embosser. This embosser can be used either on your desk or held in your hand; lightweight aluminum and a plastic body and is easy to use. Available with your choice of seven different layout options.

These notary embossers will bear YOUR NAME around the top and “PROVINCE OF ALBERTA” around the bottom.

New Notaries and Commissioners Act in force as of April 30, 2015
Under the old legislation, a notary didn’t need to affix a seal to an affidavit or declaration to be valid for use within Alberta. The new legislation requires a notary to affix a seal to all documents, whether for use in Alberta or out of province. The seal must bear the notary’s name and the words “Notary Public” and “Province of Alberta.” (Section 5.)
